FMS R7 crash cages mount to the front engine mount using CNC engine mount spacers and go to the rearset adapter to allow full shin clearance. Our crash cages aim to give you the most comfortable ergonomics while riding.
Are modifications required?
No. If you do not want to drill holes in your fairings, you can run our crash cage with no modifications.
We highly recommend getting our OPTIONAL top crossbar that connects the top half of the cages. (drilling a 1-1/8 hole is required) This gives the cage the extra support and helps distribute the load throughout the cage. Enabling the product to take even more abuse.
